Active And Passive Voice in Hindi : Active Voice को हिंदी में कर्तरी प्रयोग और Passive Voice को कर्मणि प्रयोग बोलते है।

जब किसे ने कोई क्रिया खुद से की है ये बताना है तो Active Voice का प्रयोग किया जाता है।  तथा किसीसे कोई क्रिया करवाई गयी है ये बताने के लिए Passive Voice का प्रयोग करते है। चलिए कुछ examples के साथ इनका इस्तेमाल देखते है।

Examples of Active and Passive Voice in Hindi

  1. Active Voice : Mohan drives the car. (मोहन कार चलाता है।)
    Passive Voice : The car is driven by Mohan. (मोहन के द्वारा कार चलाई जाती है।)
  2. Active Voice : We saw a new movie. (हमने नई मूवी देखी।)
    Passive Voice : A new movie was seen by us.( हमरे द्वारा नयी मूवी देखी गयी।)
  3. Active Voice: Students will perform the play. (विद्यार्थी प्ले अच्छी तरह से पेश करेंगे।)
    Passive Voice : The play would be performed by students. (विद्यार्थियों द्वारा प्ले अच्छी तरह से पेश की जाएगी।)
  4. Active Voice : Shreya and Neha eat healthy food. (श्रेया और नेहा हेल्दी फ़ूड खाती है।)
    Passive Voice : Healthy food is eaten by Shreya and Neha. (श्रेया और नेहा द्वारा हेल्दी फ़ूड खाया जाता है।)

Rule 1

Active Voice से  Passive Voice में convert करते वक्त subject और object के स्थान बदलने पड़ते है। Passive Voice में Object से वाक्य की शुरुआत होती है।

I play football.

Football is played by me.

इस वाक्य में ‘I’ ये subject और ‘football’ ये object है। 

Rule 2

Passive Voice के वाक्यों में क्रिया के तीसरे रूप का यानि Past Participle (Third Form of verb) का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। जैसे – shown, written, eaten, driven, flown, kept, listened, played, thrown, presented, shown, sung etc.

For example-

eat my meal daily

My meal is eaten by me daily.

Rule 3

Change of Tense (कालपरिवर्तन) – Active Voice to Passive Voice

जब भी कोई sentense active voice से  passive voice convert करना हो तो उसका टेंस चेंज नहीं करना पड़ता। नीचे के टेबल में आपको ऊपर के तीनों नियमों की पूरी जानकारी मिल जाएगी।

2. Football is being played by us.
Past Continuous Tense1. John was riding a bicycle.
2. We were playing football on Sunday.
1. A bicycle was being ridden by John.
2. Football was being played by us on Sunday.
Present Perfect Tense1. John has ridden bicycle.
2. We have played football on Sunday.
1. A bicycle has been ridden by John.
2. Football has been played by us on Sunday.
Past Perfect Tense1. John had ridden a bicycle.
2. We had played football on Sunday.
1. A bicycle had been ridden by John.
2. Football had been played by us on Sunday.
Future Perfect Tense1. John will have ridden a bicycle.
2. We will have played football on Sunday.
1. A bicycle will have been ridden by John.
2. Football will have been played by us on Sunday.

इन tenses के वाक्यों को passive voice में generally convert नहीं किया जा सकता। 

  1. Present Perfect Continous
  2. Future Continuous
  3. Future Perfect Continous
  4. Past Perfect Continous

Change of subject Pronouns – Active Voice to Passive Voice कभी कभी वाक्य में कर्ता की जगह pronoun होता है जिसे subject pronoun बोलै जाता है। Active Voice से  Passive Voice में change करते वक्त subject pronoun का रूप बदलता है। नीचे का टेबल देखें।

    Passive Voice: A good essay had been written by you.
  7. Active Voice: Leaves of plants were making noise.
    Passive Voice: Noise was being made by leaves of plants.

Final words

Active Voice में subject को ज्यादा मह्त्व होता है और passive voice में object को मह्त्व दिया जाता है। Passive Voice में क्रिया का तीसरा रूप इस्तेमाल होता है।
